Community Infrastructure

This assessment addresses a wide array of issues, ranging from economic self-sufficiency to health care access, healthy lifestyles, special needs of the elderly and people with disabilities, and providing strong foundations for our community’s young people. However, certain broad issues cut across these various domains and have a great deal of influence on how these issues can be dealt with at the community level. This section addresses three of these areas:   (1) transportation; (2) service systems coordination; and (3) the capacity of local agencies to meet community needs.
