Day of Caring 2010- September 16, 2010!
Why should your organization/company participate in Day of Caring?
- Day of Caring is a great way for groups to work on team-building skills.
- It’s a wonderful opportunity for co-workers to get to know each other outside of their normal work environment.
- Employee volunteerism helps build better and healthier communities.
- It’s fun!
When you reach out a hand to one, you INFLUENCE the condition of all!
Day of Caring 2009 was a huge success; we mobilized close to 700 volunteers to facilitate more than 90 much needed projects. It’s an incredible experience to be part of this great county-wide collaboration.
With the generous support of A.D Bos Vending Services and Sara Lee, we are able to provide lunch, and all volunteers are encouraged to attend. (Thanks to a generous in-kind gift, Day of Caring Lunch will be held at Yogi Bear Camp and Resort, US-31 and M-45)
Follow 5 easy steps and you’re ready for a successful Day of Caring.
- For starters, put a team together! What will your team look like? Will it be a co-ed team, an all women, or an all male team? Some teams consist of women, men and youth. Your team can be as small as 2, or as large as 20. It’s up to you!
